The Phoenix's Womens FA CUP run came to an end with a defeat to Thrapston Town Ladies.

Due to the departure of the team's manager and squad who followed him, the Phoenix were left with just seven players who wanted to play the fixture.

Knowing with the bare minimum, and some carrying injuries before kick off, defeat was inevitable the Ladies still played the game.

The chance to play the game they love, to play in the Womens FA Cup and enjoy themsleves was enough for these Ladies to show the true spirit of Womens football.
